Sat takes stock of people’s grievances

JAMMU, July 29: Former Minister and ex-MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) conducted an extensive tour of Wards 40 and Ward 41 and interacted with hundreds of locals in the area. He was accompanied by State secretary BJP, Sanjay Baru (Corporator), district president, Ayodhya Gupta, Corporator Ward 41, Neelam Nargotra, State media secretary BJP, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, PWD officials and many others including inhabitants of the wards. Sharma also took stock of basic amenities in both wards.
Addressing the locals, Sat Sharma said that he was apprised of the problems faced by locals in the area including damaged roads due to rains and covering of deep drains for which concerned departments were called on the spot for early redressal. Sharma assured public that the work will be taken up to resolve the issue in a time bound manner to benefit the locals at the earliest.
Sanjay Baru and Neelam Nargotra complimented the former MLA for his pro active approach and stated that Ward 18 has been equipped with all modern infrastructure and that is with the help of former MLA who is still working 24X7 in order to provide best possible services to masses. They also stated that pending works in the ward are kept on priority and will be taken up in coming days.
Ayodhya Gupta and Dr Pardeep also stated that Jammu West has been developed to its fullest and pending works will also be taken in some time to avoid public distress. The pace of development in Jammu West shows that constituency progressed a lot in last five years and has reached to the mark of a Model Constituency.
The locals also complimented the former MLA for taking up many works in both the wards and expected that the BJP leader will keep working with the same pace to work for the masses of Jammu West.
JE Paramjit Singh, Kuldeep Katoch, Abhishek Sharma, Rajesh Saini, Santosh, Vicky Mahajan, Atul Chopra, Parveen Ghai and several others were also present.
