Sat kick starts blacktopping works in Ward 40

JAMMU, Mar 10: Providing best possible infrastructure to the inhabitants of Jammu West at their doorsteps, former Minister and Ex MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) kick started black topping works at Priyadarshini Lane 3 & 4 of Ward 40 along with corporator, Neelam Nargotra and several others including district president, BJP Jammu, Pramod Kapahi, JMC officials including AEE, JMC, Raman Kapahi, JE JMC Shabab, local residents and political activists of the area.
The works will be executed under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of Rs 20 lakh and areas of both lanes will be covered under the same.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that construction of these lanes was a long pending demand of the residents of Priyadarshini Lane and that demand has been fulfilled. Sharma highlighted the major works taken up in the constituency in the past years.
He said that other areas of all wards of Jammu West Assembly segment are also kept on priority and wherever necessary, the development works are taken up on priority so that people do not face any problem regarding infrastructure in their areas.
He stated that Jammu West constituency has moved towards achieving the status of a Model constituency. He mentioned that more projects are in the pipeline and will be executed in a time bound manner.
Neelam Nargotra and Pramod Kapahi on the occasion assured the residents that all their genuine demands would be looked into on priority and assured that they shall be forwarded to the concerned authorities for early approvals and execution of the works. They also stated that with the efforts of former MLA many works were taken up in Jammu West and the pace of development will continue in coming times as well.
Chaman Lal Bhagat, Abhishek Sharma, Praveen Ghai, Ashok Singh, Sachin Nargotra, Rahul Nargotra, Lovekesh Gondi, Ramesh Chander, Rajinder Gupta, Arun Khajuria, Sonali Gupta, Vikas Kumar and several others were also present on the occasion.
