JAMMU, June 18: Former Minister and MLA Jammu West, Sat Sharma (CA) today inaugurated 6.3 MVA Transformer at Canal Road, Jammu. Sharma was accompanied by Chief Engineer, PDD, Sudhir Gupta, Executive Engineer, Anil Gupta, AEE, Ajay Bharti, district president BJP Ayodhya Gupta, Corporator, Jeet Angral and other officials of PDD.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma congratulated the Department and the residents of Canal Road, Shakti Nagar, Toph Sherkhania, Bakshi Nagar, Garden Avenue and adjoining areas on the inauguration of 6.3 MVA transformer. He said that this was a long pending demand of traders and residents of the area as they were facing power fluctuations and unscheduled cuts. Sharma said that BJP is a party with the agenda of development and it has always ensured development of all regions.
Chief Engineer, Sudhir Gupta said that it is a good news for the residents. He mentioned that with this newly commissioned 6.3 MVA Transformer, approximately 30000 residents of Jammu West will be benefitted. Sudhir Gupta complimented former MLA for his untiring efforts in providing the land for the station. He also said that the transformer will be upgraded to a higher capacity in near future.
Advocate Rajesh Gupta, Veena Gupta, Urvashi Gupta, Ravi Bakshi, Raizada Rajesh Bali, Yogesh Gupta, Amar Pal, Raghu Pal, Sunil Sarmal and many others were present on the occasion.
