Sarpanches extend support to Bar Association Samba

SAMBA, Sept 4: Sarpanches of different blocks of District Samba today gave support to Bar Association Samba in their ongoing strike.
According to the report, today the Sarpanches of different blocks of district Samba has given their support to Bar Association Samba. This was followed by a joint protest by lawyers and sarpanches of different blocks of Samba against the Police Department in newly constructed Court Complex Samba. The protestors raised slogans against the Police Department. They alleged that the Police Department has registered the wrong FIR against the some members of the Samba Bar Association. They demanded immediate transfer of CPO and suspension of constable Gafoor Ahmed who misbehaved with lawyers on August 29.
Meanwhile the Bar Association Samba strike entered sixth day today and they are demanding immediate filling of the Challan in court.
Among other those present including Sarpanch Ravinder Singh Lablu, Capt (retd) Inder Singh, president Rajput Sabha Samba, Tejinder Singh, president, Beopar Mandal Samba, Sarpanch Parveen Singh and  Sarpanch Darshan Singh.
