JAMMU, May 29: International Volleyball player from J&K, who recently played the Volleyball League, Saqlain Tariq has been selected for the two-month long India camp to be held at SAI Bengaluru from tomorrow.
The camp is being organised to prepare the Indian team for 20th Asian Senior Men’s Championship to be held at Iran from September 13 to 21, 2019.
Saqlain Tariq, who belongs to district Poonch, has already represented India in 10th Asian Youth Volleyball Championship held at Colombo Sri Lanka in 2014. As also Tariq has represented India in Junior Asian Volleyball Championship at Chinese Taipai 2016 and participated in BRICS Games at Johannesburg (South Africa) and won bronze medal. He was part of the Kochi (Chennai) team in the Volleyball League.
