JAMMU, Sept 18: The 16-member Under-14 boys’ cricket team of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) left for Una, Himachal Pradesh today to participate in the North Zone Cricket Tournament, being held under the banner of Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The team is being led by promising cricketer Sanchit Dass, while Kamran Iqbal will be deputy.
The team will begin its campaign in its first match against Himachal Pradesh on September 20, 2013.
Bilal Ahmed is accompanying the team as coach, while Vijay Sharma is the manager.
The team: Sanchit Dass (Captain), Kamran Iqbal (Vice Captain), Owais, Abdul Samad, Vivrant, Raghav Sharma, Mohd Shahdad, Kanaya (WK), Muneer Zulf, Syed Mohsin, Aditya Chib, Mujtaba, Fayeem Nazir, Sampark, Zamin Zahoor and Jiyad Magray.
