JAMMU, June 2: On the countrywide protest call given by “Soonay Saaj Sunay Sarkar” to raise issues of artists sitting idle due to lockdown, Samooh Theatre, Jammu today held massive protest demonstration against Government in support of burning demands of artists.
Samooh Theatre’s teams participated in this protest at their respective places. And the main program was held at team Director Ravinder Sharma’s terrace where an actor was ready to perform, but there was nobody to see his performance.
While addressing the protest demonstration, Mr Shrarma expressed grave concern over the miserable plight of artists who have been deprived of their work owning to shutting of all cultural events following constant lockdown.
They said that due to lockdown their livelihood has been snatched.
The artists fervently appealed that financial help.
The protest demonstration was attending by many artists of group including Ravinder Sharma, Ajay Tamang, Gautam Kumar, Sandeep Manhas, Chetan Charak, Sakshav Raina, Radhika Sharma, Anjli Sharma, Janvi Sharma, Sumita and Deepmala.
