SAMBA, Mar 7: An interaction meeting with the NoKs of police martyrs was held at District Police Lines, Samba by the Dy.SP DAR Samba here today.
At the outset of meeting, Dy. SP DAR Samba welcomed all the family members of police martyrs, enquired about their well being. Thereafter he visited Martyrs Gallery and paid rich tributes to them. All the family members were assured that the Police Department is a family and always ready for all kind of possible help to the families of martyrs who had sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation.
During the meeting, the participant families were made aware about the basic protective measures being taken against the Coronavirus. The routine medical check-up of the family members was also got conducted in the District Police Lines Samba.
It is pertinent to mention here that out of 20 martyrs’ families of district Samba, legal heirs of 18 martyrs families have got employment under SRO-43 and are adequately posted, whereas the cases of remaining two families are under process in GAD for further formal orders. The grievances put forth by the family members of police martyrs were listened patiently by the chairing officer and assured them that the grievances will be shared with the concerned quarters for further redressal.
