JAMMU, July 5: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament (MP) Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency today visited village Shama Chak in Marh area and paid glowing tribute to Kargil Shaheed, Uday Maan Singh. He also distributed free gas connections among the poor families and sanctioned bathing ghat at village Shama Chak from his MPLAD Scheme.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, while addressing the gathering said that the sacrifices of the Defence Forces and Indian Army can never be forgotten at any cost. They sacrificed their lives to ensure security and safety to us in our homes. He said that Kargil War was very unfortunate and left a wound in our hearts as many mothers have lost their sons. Sena Medal, Uday Maan Singh was the brave soldier of Indian Army and he lost his life while fighting the enemies in 1999.
Jugal Kishore while paying tribute to Shaheed Uday Maan Singh also praised his mother for imbibing the sprit of bravery and valour in him. He distributed free gas connections among the poor families on the occasion and while listening to the demands raised by the inhabitants he sanctioned one bathing ghat for village Shama Chak.
The prominent persons and villagers also paid tribute to the brave martyr Uday Maan Singh on the occasion.
C O Parminder Singh, Col Sachin, district president , BJP Jammu Rural, Omi Khajuria, Mahila Morcha president, Purnima Sharma, Mandal president ,Babu Ram and other senior leaders of party were also present on the occasion.
