MUMBAI, Dec 30: The rupee was down today by 17 paise to 62.02, on rising demand for US Dollars by importers, traders at the ForexMarket.
The local unit recorded intra day high and low at 61.82 and 62.06 per Dollar respectively.
The Rupee slipped in the opening trade owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies, dealers said. (AGENCIES)
