RSS celebrates 93rd Foundation Day, takes out full dress route marches

JAMMU, Oct 18: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated its 93rd Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and charm at various places across the Jammu region today.
In this connection, Sangh Path Sanchalans, full dress route marches were taken out at various places by the Swayamsevaks.
The Path Sanchalans were taken out in Kathua, Samba, Kishtwar and Bhaderwah on the occasion of Vijay Dashmi today.

It may be recalled that the foundation of RSS was laid on this day by its founder and first Sar Sangchalak, Dr Hedgewar in the year 1925 at Nagpur to unite the society and make it self reliant to lay the foundation of a strong nation so that India’s pristine glory is restored and the country becomes the Vishwa Guru once again.
In Kathua the Swayamsevaks took out a Path Sanchalan which started from College Ground Kathua and after passing through internal city routes, it culminated at Shaheedi Chowk. RSS Prant Prachar Parmukh, Avtar Krishan while speaking on the occasion threw light on the role of Sangh in nation building. He said a Swayamsevak who considers Bhagwa Dwaj as Guru has to work selflessly for the nation and surrender every thing before his motherland.
He said a life of a Swayamsevak is like a Sanyasi who does not care for cold, rain, snow thunder or any thing but remains busy in the service of his nation round the clock without any expectation for his services in return.
In connection with Foundation Day of RSS a Path Sanchalan was taken out in Kishtwar by Swyamamsevaks of the area. On occasion North Zone, Sewa Parmukh, Suresh Ji highlighted the importance of the day. Later a Path Sanchalan was taken out which passed through various areas.
Over 300 volunteers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) took out route March in the town on the occasion. The procession started from Gori Shankar Mandir Sarkoot and passing through different locations of the town including Dakbanglow Chowk, Main Baazar, District Court, Kuleed Chowk, it culminated at Gori Shankar Mandir on its return.
Elaborate security arrangement were made by Police Department to avoid any untoward incidence. Additional SP, Kishtwar, Parbeet Singh, DySP Headquarter, Ayaz Ahmed and SHO, Kishtwar, Sameer Jeelani accompanied the procession.
A traditional Path Sanchalan was taken out by RSS on the occasion of its Foundation Day today in Bhaderwah town. The Path Sanchalan started from the Geeta Bhawan by Sangh activists and covering the whole town including main market, it passed through Ganpath Bazaar, Mandir Bazar, Bus Stand, , Jai road, Vaskdhera Mohalla, Khakhal Mohalla and ended at Geeta Bhawan on its return.
The Path Sanchalan was welcomed at various places by the residents of Bhaderwah with `Pusshp Varsha’.
While speaking on the occasion, RSS Seh Prant Sewa Parmukh, Chanderkant said that RSS has always been at the fore front for the national cause and its objective of establishing Shakhas was to unite the society and imbibe the spirit of patriotism among the people. He said the Swayamsevaks have more responsibility on their shoulders at present as country is facing more challenges today than it was facing during the pre-independence of post independence days. He said on this day Shaster Poojan (arms worship) is also performed.
Vibagh Sangchalak, Ashok Kotwal, Zila Sangchalak, Keshaw Ram Kotwal, and Vibagh Parcharak, Rajidner Bhai were also present on the occasion.
Reports said that a full dress route march was also taken by RSS in Samba today to celeberate the Foundation Day.
