Rs 530 cr approved under DDUGJY for 21 districts of JK: Dy CM

 

SRINAGAR:The Centre has approved Rs 530.08 crore under Deendayal Upadhaya Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) for all districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

This information was given by Deputy Chief Minister,  Nirmal Singh while replying to a question by Sofi Yousuf in the Legislative Council today.

He  said DDUGJY has been approved for 21 districts of J&K by the Monitoring Committee of Union Ministry of Power on August 6 for an amount of Rs 530.08 crore for feeder separation, metering, system strengthening and providing electrification access to rural households and the scheme is to be implemented as per guidelines of DDUGJY within the stipulated time frame.
