UDHAMPUR, Apr 6: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Samote under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi organized an Ayush Medical Camp in collaboration with the National Ayush Mission for the local populace of villages Sahpur, Larkoti, Bakori, Daraj, Darman and Targain as part of ameliorating the health care issues of the locals and to give boost to the ancient Indian treatment of Ayurveda and Homeopathy.
A total of 202 people including women and children of these villages attended the camp.
Apart from providing medical relief, the camp also provided awareness about Ayush medicines to prevent life style diseases which is likely to benefit people of the Pir Panjal ranges who have to travel long distances to get medical treatment.
A team of Doctors from the civil administration, accompanied by nursing assistants and pharmacists provided medical assistance along with the medical staff and doctor from Army.
