Rotaract Club donates blankets, clothes to needy people

JAMMU, Nov 30: On the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti here today, a blanket and cloth donation drive was organized by the Rotaract Club of Jammu City (RCJC) which is affiliated to the Rotary Club of Jammu City.
A handout stated that 17 members and 7 volunteers of the Club participated enthusiastically to donate blankets and clothes to the needy people of the society in the bone chilling cold of Jammu.
Keeping in view COVID-19 pandemic, the Rotracters also donated masks among the needy people by strictly following all the COVID SOPs.
The event was planned and executed by Ojus Masson, RCJC president along with Chaitley Sharma, secretary and the entire RCJC team.
The Club had also donated clothes and blankets to the needy people on November 12 and 24 and so far the Club has covered four different areas in Jammu where clothes, masks and blankets have been distributed to over 200 needy people.
Speaking on the occasion, Ojus Masson said RCJC will continue to organize such programmes in future too in order to help the less privileged sections of the society.
