NEW DELHI, July 2:

Global music stars Rita Ora and Clean Bandit will perform at the closing ceremony of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 final at Lord's on Sunday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Thursday.

Rita Ora will headline the pre-match closing ceremony, scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm local time, while British electronic pop group Clean Bandit will perform after the final and trophy presentation.

The entertainment programme will accompany the final of the biggest Women's T20 World Cup to date, which is expected to be played before a sell-out crowd at Home of Cricket.

Australia have already booked their place in the title clash after defeating the West Indies in the semi-finals. They will meet the winner of the second semi-final between hosts England and South Africa, to be played at The Oval on July 2.

The closing ceremony follows the tournament's opening event on June 12, when the cast of the West End and Broadway musical Wicked performed before England's opening match against Sri Lanka.

The ICC hopes the combination of world-class cricket and live music will provide a fitting conclusion to the expanded Women's T20 World Cup, which has attracted record crowds and interest throughout the tournament. (UNI)
