JAMMU, May 23: Rich Harvest School hosted a Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on Disaster Management under the aegis of the Central Board of Secondary Education, witnessing enthusiastic participation from educators aimed at strengthening disaster preparedness in schools.
The programme began with a welcome address by Principal Anita Bhatia, who stressed the importance of safety awareness, preparedness and timely response in educational institutions.
Resource persons Manmeet Kour, Vice Principal Army Public School Jammu Cantt and Avneet Budhraja, Vice Principal, Jammu Sanskriti School conducted interactive sessions on disaster preparedness, mitigation strategies and emergency response mechanisms, sharing practical insights with participants.
Addressing the gathering, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director highlighted the role of educators in building resilience and ensuring a safer school environment. The programme concluded with active participation, collaborative discussions and positive feedback from attendees.
