JAMMU, Sept 14: Sleuths of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a Revenue Inspector red-handed with Rs 2 lakh bribe here today.
As per details available with the Excelsior, Ashok Kumar, who is posted in the office of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Cantonment Board, Satwari, was arrested while demanding and accepting the graft amount from one Vinod Sharma.
Further searches carried out at the residence (Government quarters) of the Revenue Inspector at Satwari Cantt area also resulted in recovery of Rs 12 lakh cash.
