Retired cops project demands

RAJOURI, Oct 6: Retired Police Personnel Forum has urged upon the State Government to implement  7th Pay Commission report in favour of serving and retired employees of the Police Department  and provide 15 % reservation in jobs to the wards of Police personnel in the department.
In a meeting of the retired Police personnel held here today, under the leadership of Om Parkash Sharma, distrct president of the Forum, the members discussed their issues in detail. They demanded that Rank One pension may be granted to the Police personnel, implement 7th Pay Commission report as same stands granted in favour of Army and Para Military forces,  enhance Medical allowance from  Rs 300 to Rs 3000 per month in favour of employees and pensioners as same stood enhanced  recently to Rs 5000 in favour of legislators, provide free medical treatment to ailing retired policemen, provide Rs 50,000 from Police Welfare Fund at the time of marriage of daughters of retired policemen and Rs 50,000 to the family of the policemen for performing last rites.
