UDHAMPUR, Mar 6: Mont-hly meeting of All J&K RET Teachers Forum, district unit Udhampur, was held here today under the chairmanship of district president Lekh Raj Parihar.
While speaking on the occasion, Mr Parihar sought the streamlining of SSA salary which is a chronic problem and the SSA teachers are the sufferers as their family members are living in a miserable condition. He said that in Udhampur SSA salary is cleared upto December 2015 and it is the third month for the SSA teachers without salary and the pay arrears of Education Volunteers (EVs) regularized as General Line Teachers are pending for eight months, even DA arrears and 6th pay commission installments of SSA Teachers have not been paid in the Distt Udhampur for last two years which is a matter of great concern.
He appealed the Governor N N Vohra and Secretary School Education Shaleen Kabra and State Project Director SSA Saugat Viswas, to personally intervene to clear the pending SSA salary and others arrears of SSA teachers of Distt Udhampur.
