DODA, July 8: The residents of Changa Block today held protest against the Power Development Department (PDD).
A large number of residents assembled at Banna market and raised slogans against PDD for erratic power supply.
The protesting people said that the PDD officials assured them of regular power supply, but nothing concrete has been done and the people have been left with no other option but to come on roads.
The protesters was led by Showket Ali Rather, who while speaking said that there is no scheduled power supply to their localities and demanded immediate intervention of the higher authorities for resolving the issue.
