KARGIL, June 27: Chief Executive Officer (CEO), District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and Additional Deputy Commissioner Kargil has informed the general public that as per a communication received from the General Manager, Chutak Power Station, Chutuk Kargil silt flushing at Chutuk Barrage will be carried out on 30th June, 2020 from 5 am to 3 pm.
Water level in the river downstream of Chutuk Barrage would rise above existing levels due to release of water.
In this connection all people including those residing nearby downstream of the barrage have been advised not to go near the river side during the flushing period.
