Release salaries of migrant employees: JTC

JAMMU, Oct 12: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here at Jagti today under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president, JTC/SKF.
In the meeting several issues were raised and discussed in threadbare. The participants have expressed their dis-satisfaction over the present Government which has put the masses under lockdown for past two month.
Shadi Lal Pandita, while addressing the participants has said that on abrogation of Art. 370 and 35A by the Central Government most of the opposition leaders in Jammu and Kashmir have either been kept under house arrest or confined to Jails thereby giving a serious setback to the democratic set up in the State.
He said the Block Development Council (BDC) elections have been announced at a stage when mostly the opposition party leaders are under house arrest. He wanted to know that how the opposition parties can participate in these elections when their top leaders are under house arrest.
Pandita said that the migrant employees serving in different district of Kashmir Valley are presently confronted to lot of financial sufferings due to non-release of their monthly salaries. He has demanded immediate release of the pending salaries of past three months to them.
