Refined soya oil futures edge higher on spot demand

NEW DELHI, July 25: Amid uptick in demand at the domestic spot market against restricted arrivals from producing regions, refined soya oil prices edged up by 0.03 per cent to Rs 743.30 per quintal in futures trade today as speculators built up fresh positions.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, refined soya oil for delivery in August was trading marginally higher by 25 paise, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 743.30 per 10 kg with an open interest of 41,580 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders following an improvement in demand in the physical market influenced refined soya oil prices in futures trade. (PTI)
