Recognize genocide of KPs at national level: PK

JAMMU, Sept 13: Reiterating his demand that genocide of Kashmiri Pandits be recognized at national level, Panun Kashmir chairman, Dr Ajay Chrungoo today made it clear that if separatist movement in Kashmir is to be quelled, the carving out of homeland as per Margdarshan Resolution for seven lakh Kashmiri Pandits within Valley on North East of river Jehlum is the only alternative.
Interacting with media persons through a webinar on the eve of Balidan Divas today, Dr Chrungoo strongly advocated for destabilising the separatist module in Kashmir which is posing a grave threat to national unity and integrity. He said with the abrogation of 370 granting a specials status to J&K, the Government of India is in full command to destabilise and demolish all separatist and semi separatist structures in Kashmir.
Expressing concern over denial of genocide to exiled Kashmir Pandits who were forced to leave Valley by Islamic terrorists and Jehadis, Chrungoo warned that if Government of India still hesitates in declaring the KPs exodus and ethnic cleansing as genocide it is a threat to the nation as well and those believing in continuation of civilization will also be put to a great danger.
Accusing the majority community of Valley for genocide of Pandits , he said it is hurting that the Government instead of calling it genocide of the community termed it as migration.
Warning that denial of genocide will strengthen Islamic fundamentalism and Jehadi forces in Kashmir, Dr Chrungoo said the special status to J&K, autonomy, self rule, separate Kashmir, accession to Pakistan is one and the same thing. He said under a conspiracy killing of Hindus in Kashmir started from the towering KP leader and the vice president of BJP, Tika Lal Taploo, followed by Pt Prem Nath Bhat another KP stalwart, torching thousands of houses and desecrating the religious places.
Strongly supporting separate homeland demand for Pandits, Manoj Raghu Vanshi a senior journalist said as mask is needed for the protection from dreaded COVID Pandemic likewise separate homeland is necessary for protection of minority Hindus of Valley from Jehadi terrorism.
The program started with the message on Martyrs’ Day from community stalwart centenarian O N Trisal, followed by the messages of Dr Agnishekhar, convenor,Panun Kashmir, Dr K L Chowdhary, Dr Shashi Shekhar Toshkhani and Capt (retd) S K Tickoo. A musical tribute song composed by Athrot with lyrics by Moti Lal Saqi and Kanwal Peshin was released on the occasion.
Kuldeep Raina, general Secretary and Tito Ganju, advisor, Legal Affairs PK was present during media interaction.
Media Interaction was followed by a Webinar – Remembrance & Reaffirmation which was attended by eminent panelists from across the globe.
