Real Kashmir FC, J&K Bank-XI emerge winners

SRINAGAR, July 13: Real Kashmir FC and J&K Bank-XI scripted wins over their opponents- SCFA and Hyderya Sports FC by five goals to one each in the ongoing J&K Football Professional League-2021, being played at Synthetic Turf TRC, here today.
The 1st match played between Real Kashmir FC and SCFA was a one sided affair wherein former dominated the show over latter and registered emphatic win by 5 goals to one. Sahil Khursheed of RKFC was declared as man of the match.
The 2nd match was played between J&K Bank-XI & Hyderya Sports FC. Both the teams right from the start of the match exhibited quality Football which kept the spectators spell bound. Hyderya FC made a superb move but failed to convert it into goal in 30th minute of first half resulting 1st half of the game ended with a goalless draw. In the 55th minute of the match, J&K Bank XI took the lead from a superb goal which was scored by Akif, whereas in the 75th minute the J&K Bank made a move through Adnan and Akif made no mistake by converting another goal through a splendid header.
In the 80th minute of the match Hyderya FC scored first goal through Shahnawaz Bashir but just after the opponent goal, Akif scored another goal and scripted first hat-trick for his team-J&K Bank in the tournament. In the dying moment, Akif succeeded to convert one more goal for his team and registered five goals to one over the Hyderya Sports FC. Aakif Javed of J&K Bank was declared as man of the match.
The team’s players were introduced by chief guest of the event, Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary Youth Services and Sports. He interacted with the players and assured them that the Government is doing everything possible for the development of sports in every nook and corner of the UT. He was accompanied by Secretary JKSC, Nuzhat Gul, Mohd Ashraf, Special Secretary YSS, Dr Zaffer Iqbal, Chief Accounts Officer JKSC, Nuzhat Ara, Divisional Sports Officer, ZA Thakur, president JKFA and many others.
Shaheen FC Jammu will locks horns with Kashmir Avenger FC at 4 pm, while Lonestar KFC to face Downtown Hero’s FC at 6:30 pm tomorrow.
