DODA, June 15: Royal Cricket Club (RCC) Bhalessa and Brothers Eleven Ramban registered victories over their rivals in the ongoing All India 15th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being played at Sports Stadium, here.
Royal Cricket Club Bhalessa defeated Ayan Cricket Club Doda by 8 wickets.
Batting first, ACC Doda scored paltry total of 89 runs in 18.1overs. Ashok Sharma top scored with 36 runs, while Izhar Gattu contributed 20 runs to the total. From the bowling side, Sunny Parihar and Anchal Singh grabbed 3 wickets to each.
In reply, RCC Bhalessa chased the target in just 10.5 overs for the loss of 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Ravi Sharma scored 37 runs while Nittan Sharma contributed 21 runs. Nayeem ul Haq and Gohar Nazir shared 1 wicket each. Sunny Parihar of Royal Cricket Club Bhalessa was declared as the man of the match for his superb bowling display.
In another match, Brother Eleven Ramban defeated Fresh Bathri Bhalessa by 8 wickets.
Batting first, Fresh Bathri Bhalessa collapsed at 73 runs in 17.1 overs. Ishrat Hussain scored 20 runs while Yasir Ganai made 13 runs. Musaib Wani took 3 wickets while Jahangir Ahmed bagged 2 wickets.
In reply, Brothers Eleven Ramban scored the required runs in 6.4 overs by losing 2 wickets, thus won the match by 8 wickets. Arfat Butt was the top scorer with 31 runs while Musaib Wani contributed 17 runs to the total. From bowling side, Tariq Hussain took 1 wicket. Musaib Wani was declared as the man of the match for his all-round performance who was given prize by General Secretary YSCC Faizan A Tramboo along with chief organizer Irfan Ali Batt.
