JAMMU, Aug 21: Clinical show with bat by Ravi Pandita drove White Cricket Club (WCC) to a big win of 151-run against Bharat Cricket Club (BCC) in the ongoing KP Cup Cricket Tournament being organized at KC Sports Club Ground, Jammu.
Batting first, WCC raised a big total of 217 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing only 2 wickets. Ravi Pandita chipped in some magnificent shots and scored 93 runs off just 50 balls with the help of 6 sixes and 5 boundaries. Rahul and Deepu also contributed 62 and 27 runs, respectively to the team’s total. For BCC, Sanjay took 2 wickets in his four over spell.
In reply, BCC failed to chase the target and collapsed on paltry 56 runs in 11 overs, thereby losing the match by a big margin of 151 runs. For WCC, Raju took 4 wickets while Ajay and Ravi Pandita scalped 2 and 1 wicket, respectively. Ravi Pandita, who scored 93 runs and took 1 wicket, was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sumit and Aman as umpires while Sanjay maintained the scorecard. The tournament is being organized by WCC and sponsored by Star Sports.
