JAMMU, June 20: J&K BJP president, Ravinder Raina released a handout containing information of Major Achievements by Union Minister & Member of Parliament from Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Lok Sabha Constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh in 1st year of 2nd term for the year 2019-2020, at party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
J&K BJP spokesperson and former MLC, Girdhari Lal Raina, party’s Programme Incharge, Ajay Pargal, party’s media secretary Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, party’s Executive Committee Member Bharat Sharma and others also accompanied the BJP president on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Raina said that after gifting his constituency and whole of the region with various achievements in his first term in as MP from 2014-2019, Dr Jitendra Singh has done unparalleled work in the 2nd term of his MP as well. Dr Jitendra Singh got development works in every corner of the constituency sanctioned. Express ways, railways, CRF projects and other major projects were dealt on priority basis with his efforts. He said that the MP worked even harder than his previous term as MP from the Constituency.
Raina, said that Dr Jitendra Singh worked for the core ideological issues as well as development works with equal force and the party believes that he will for sure continue to serve his people with all his capabilities. Raina said that with his vision, Dr Jitendra started all those projects as well which were pending in the region for one reason or another for decades together.
Raina added that Border areas were given preference for their special needs, while all other areas which were developed less in the earlier decades, were given individual attention. He has done excellent works for J&K in his tenure as the Central Minister and it is due to his efforts that we can see the top class projects in J&K, Raina said.
Raina also said that important projects like Shahpur Kandi project, Biotech parks, Universities, education, Health Department, construction works, everywhere is touched by Dr Jitendra Singh. AIIMS, IIIM etc. premier institutions could only be possible due to the sincere efforts by Dr Jitendra Singh. He stressed that Dr Jitendra Singh always projected the core issues of the region with strength on the national platform.
Delhi-Katra Express Way, Shahpur Kandi, 190 Cr Devika Project, Ujh Multipurpose project, Kiru Power project, Pakkal Dul project, Domestic Airport in Kishtwar, world’s highest bridge on river Chenab, first major FDI, India’s first Cannabis Medicinal plant with Canadian collaboration, Vande Bharat Train, 3 Medical colleges for the Constituency, 12 new Degree Colleges, Keediyan Gandiyal Bridge and plenty of other major achievements were detailed in the leaflet released at the party headquarter, Trikuta Nagar by Ravinder Raina.
