Rajput Sabha demands gazetted holiday on B’day of Maharaja Hari Singh

DODA, July 30: Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha today organized a grand (Rajput) sammelan at Bhaderwah wherein speakers demanded the Government to declare gazetted holiday on birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh.
During the Sammelan, various  issues confronting the Rajput Biradari such as unemployment of educated (Rajput) youths and special drive to recruit educated youths in the Belt Forces by the Central/ State Governments in the Bhaderwah area were discussed in length by the speakers. Besides this, many local issues also came under discussion in the Sammelan.
A resolution was passed in the Sammelan by all the Biradri members in which it was demanded that State Government must declaration gazetted holiday on Birth Anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji on 23rd of September each year, installation of statue of Maharaja Gulab Singh Ji at Kunjwani  in Jammu, widening of Bhaderwah-Bani-Basoli Road and widening of Bhaderwah-Chamba Road.
Narayan Singh, president, Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha, in his address, apprised the Biradari Members about the policies/programmes of the Sabha and appealed them to take benefits of those. He advised all Biradri members to maintain unity and support those political leaders who assured them to fight for the cause of Rajputs in the State Assembly as well as in the Parliament.
On the occasion, Rajput Sabha honoured various Rajput officers for their meritorious services by presenting memento to them by the president of the Sabha. The officers honoured on the occasion were Pardeep Parihar (Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhaderwah), Mahendra Singh Jamwal (DFO, NPFC Bhaderwah) and Hatinder Singh Chandail (DFO Bhaderwah).
