Addressing reporters here, Raina said the BJP had made the allegations “with responsibility” and asserted that the party was prepared to present proof before the Government if given an opportunity.
“We have said this with responsibility. On a large scale, many people are involved in corruption in the name of transfers in J&K, including some ministers as well. We have evidence to substantiate it – not one, but many,” he said.
“We will present from whom money has been sought and those who have given money. I hope the Chief Minister will give us a chance and we will present the evidence, where and how it happened,” he said.
Meanwhile, reacting to the formation of the “Cockroach Janata Party,” Raina said India was a democratic country and anyone was free to form a political party under constitutional and legal provisions.
“India is a democratic country; under law and constitutional guarantees, anyone can make use of it,” he said.
