JAMMU, Apr 19: Doordarshan Engineering-in-Chief A K Dixit today visited DD Kendra Jammu to take stock of the requirements and ongoing projects related to transmission and technical sectors in the Kendra.
During the visit, a deputation of Association of Radio & Television Engineering employees led by State secretary Vijay Sharma held a detailed meeting with the Engineering-in-Chief and discussed the issues like security, staff requirement, clearance of pending financial liabilities and other problems of the staff working at DD Kendras in J&K.
The Engineering-in-Chief gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured sympathetic consideration to all their issues.
The Association deputation comprised of unit secretary Naresh Sharma, assistant unit secretary Suresh Jagotra and other members.
