PSA slapped on hardcore criminal

JAMMU, Dec 10: The stringent Public Safety Act (PSA) has been slapped on a hardcore criminal.
As per police sources, a hardcore criminal Babar Choudhary, son of Mohammad Sayeed of Chak Mohd Yar, Tehsil RS Pura has been booked under PSA.
The criminal was involved in number of attempt to murder, NDPS Act, Extortion and Arms Act cases registered with Gandhi Nagar, Satwari, Miran Sahib and RS Pura police stations. Illegal fire arms were also recovered from his possession.
The dossier for the detention of criminal was submitted in the office of District Magistrate Jammu Simrandeep Singh by Dr Sunil Gupta, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jammu.
District Magistrate Jammu Simrandeep Singh issued the PSA warrant for detention of Babar Choudhary under the provisions of J&K Public Safety Act (PSA).
The PSA warrant has been executed and the accused has been sent to jail.
Police party headed by SHO RS Pura Inspector Bhushan Manhas executed the PSA warrant under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudary and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
