It will indeed be a great loss to mankind if the aquatic life in the famous water bodies of Surinsar and Mansar are not taken care of by the stakeholders. These two lakes are the main attraction of visitors and picnikers of Jammu division, besides being source of water to people living in the vicinity.
The aquatic life will survive only if they are provided a congenial environment by way of clean water and protection from poachers and hunters.
The concerned authorities must take all preventive measures not only to maintain these water bodies on regular basis but also the aquatic life existing in it.
