JAMMU, Aug 30: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena (AG) today took out a procession here in old city against the core pro-Pakistan institutes as they have been financing the stone pelters on daily basis.
The party workers burned the effigies of these pro Pakistan institutes alleging that each stone pelter in Kashmir is being paid Rs 700 a day by these pro-Pakistan institutes for ambushing the security forces during ongoing Kashmir unrest. They said that the money which is being paid to the stone pelters is channeled through Hawala into the country from Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Gupta stated that as per the sources the investigating agencies have identified the politicians and the social organizations who were involved in the unrest as their vehicles were used to transport the stone pelters and their houses were also used to provide shrine to these miscreants. He said that the reports have been submitted by the central investigating agencies to the State Government to take action against these people but till none action has been taken.
Citing recent statement of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti that only 5 % of people of Kashmir are involved in Kashmir unrest, Gupta said that why no action has been taken against these 5% people in the form of charging PSA on them.
He demanded that a white paper must be issued and the names of these people must be made public so that the general population may also know who are behind Kashmir unrest.
