JAMMU, May 20: J&K Private Schools Association organised a one day workshop for private schools of Jammu division in which more than 100 delegates participated.
Association general secretary, Ajay Gupta talked about impact of repeated instructions issued to the parents and schools by Director School Education Jammu regarding permission, affiliation and recognition.
Others highlighted their igneous problems which had erupted due to the alleged irresponsible decisions of Education Department while framing policies for private schools.
Speakers in the workshop said that the grievances cell or the department which provides information under RTI Act in J&K has failed to settle grievances or to provide information under RTI Act -2009.
Kamal Gupta, Association president while addressing the delegates said that present government has no vision, no rational thinking and no rational policy as this Government is considering all big and small private schools at par, which is unjust and unreasonable.
Those who attended workshop were Rameshwar Mengi, Deepak Handa, Ram Parkash, Sat Paul Mansotra, Lal Chand, Ashwani Khajuria, Tariq Bali, Kiran Raina, Thomas Oommen and others.
