This has reference to news item ‘Pre-fab huts for tourists on Mughal road’ DE April 12.
To attract tourists and pilgrims towards picturesque places along famous Mughal road, it is necessary that proper infrastructure exists there. This areas has not developed much as it remained unexplored so far. It was only after Mughal Road was thrown open for vehicles did these places come to lime light. The first priority for the State holders should be to make food items, potable drinking water available at these places. Road and communication network should be strengthened. To inculcate a sense of security among tourists, security posts should be set up all along the route.
As has been proposed, pre fabricated huts should be set up on priority basis at the selective places where tourists can stay in comfort.Unless infrastructure is developed tourist won’t throng to such beautiful places.
The Tourism Department in cooperation with local people should go on making these places quite charming.
