JAMMU, Oct 27: Pandit Prem Nath Dogra (PPND) Football Club defeated Sports Council Football Academy (SCFA) by 4 goals to 1 in a match at Mini Stadium Football Turf Parade, here today.
The match was organised by PPND Football Club to celebrate the birth anniversary of Late Pt. Prem Nath Dogra in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, wherein JMC Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Balloria, ADC Jammu Rakesh Dubey, former Dy. Mayor Purnima Sharma and J&K vice president BJP Mahila Morcha and wife of Late Rakesh Gupta (Former MLA Jammu), Anu Gupta were present during the match.
Corporator Akshay Sharma, Naib Tehsildar Dinesh Angral, Divisional Sports Officer JKSC Ashok Singh, other officials of the Council and members of Football fraternity including PPND FC coach Ajay Kumar also graced the event.
The match was officiated by Satnam Singh, Dil Bahadur Gurung and Aman Banathia.
President PPND FC, Rakesh Khanna revealed to media that the Club has been organising a Football tournament to memorize Pt. Prem Nath Dogra for the last few years and will be organising the same soon.
