JAMMU, Jan 28: To carry out 33 KV line work of C-19 and C-22 feeders emanating from R/Station Canal by the Sub Transmission Division-I, Jammu, the power supply in various areas of Jammu city and its outskirts will remained affected on January 29, 30 and 31 from 11 am to 5 pm.
The areas that will remain affected include Kailash Nagar, DBN School, ITI, Science College, Commerce College, Canal Road, Shakti Nagar, Krishna Nagar, Dogra Mohalla, Lajpat Nagar, Patel Nagar, CID Office, AG’s Office, Guest House, and Mohinder Nagar.
Similarly, in order to carry out connecting of jumpers, droppers, clamps etc in 132 KV and 33 KV new transformer bay at 132/33 KV Grid Station Gangyal, the shutdown of 50 MVA, 132/33 KV Grid Station Gangyal on January 31, 2016 from 9 am to 2 pm has been allowed.
During the shutdown period the power supply to Gangyal Industrial Complex, Trikuta Nagar, Preet Nagar, Sehora , Babliana, Miran Sahib and adjoining areas will remain affected.
For carrying out urgent 33 KV line work along Ranbir canal, the shutdown on 11 KV feeder M-2 emanating from 33/11 KV Receiving Station Medical, the power supply to Shakti Nagar, Rajpura, Shiv Nagar and part of Gurah and Bakshi Nagar shall remain affected on January 29 to 31, 2016 from 11 a m to 5 p m.
Similarly, to carry out the urgent repair works of 33KV Bhaderwah-I & II, Doda and Thathri feeders emanating from Grid Station Khellani there will be shutdown of power on January 31 and February 3, 6 and 9 from 9 am to 5 pm. Due to the shutdown, the power supply to the whole Doda district and Bunjwah area of Kishtwar district being supplied from 132/33 KV Grid Station shall remain off.
According to Sham Lal Gupta, Executive Engineer, TLMD-III Udhampur, power will remain shut down from the feeders emanating from Grid Station Khellani District Doda, on 31-1-2016, 3-2-2016, 6-2-2016 and 9-2-2016 from 9 am to 5 pm.
As per Superintendent Engineer, Electric, M&RE Circle, Kishtwar, the shutdown of 33KV Bhaderwah-I and II, Doda and Thathri feeders emanating from Grid Station Khellani has been approved to carry out the urgent repair works viz. twining of 33KV main and reserve bus bars at Grid Station Khellani on 31-01-2016, 03-02-2016, 6-02-2016 and 9-02-2016 from 9 am to 5 pm, with the condition that the work shall be completed within the stipulated period.
Due to above shutdown power supply to the whole of District Doda and Bunjwah area of Kishtwar district being supplied from 132/33KV Grid Station Khellani will remain off.
