JAMMU, Jan 12: The poster of film ‘Udta Jammu’ was launched by Jayesh Gupta, Producer and Director here today. The poster was released under the banner of Karismatic production at Abhinav theatre.
Launching the poster, Jayesh said that the drug menace is spreading continuously in Jammu for the last five years which is killing our youth and destroying thousands of families and now need of the hour is to get rid of this by the involvement and coordination and efforts of police, administration, civil society, public representatives, NGOs, parents and others.
On the occasion, Capt. Hansja Rashmi Sharma was felicitated for winning the silver cheetah award. She is the first female in India who has won this award.
Actors JS Babli,Naresh Kesar and Rakesh Gupta were also felicitated by Karismatic production for their outstanding contribution and dedication to Jammu and Kashmir’s film industry. Kulwant kour chann from France basically from RS Pura Jammu was felicitated as well for her outstanding work as a social worker.
Previously Karismatic production has made two films “Bacche mann ke sacche” and ‘Kyun”. Both the films have given very good social message which got tremendous response from the public. These two films have won lot of international film festival awards in the last two years.
In the ‘Udta Jammu’ Film, actors who are playing the pratogonist are Nazish Madni, Muskan Bangotra. Suresh bangotra is playing the role of a villain, while other important actors in the film are JS Babli, Sandeep sharma, Naresh kesar, Rakesh Gupta, Rajinder Thappa and Rakesh Dogra.
