SRINAGAR: Asserting that the State police will continue to remain in forefront to promote sports and other activities among youth, Special Director General of Police (DGP) Coordination, Law & Order S P Vaid today said that players get a platform to showcase their talent by such activities.
“Jammu and Kashmir police has always remained in forefront in promoting different sports and activities among the people in general and youth in particular,” Dr Vaid said after inaugurating a golf tournament organized by J&K police at Lake View Environment Training Park here.
He said by promoting and organizing sports activates state police provides a platform to the players to show their talent. The Special DGP further said that such types of events will continue to be organised in future as well.
Meanwhile, despite chilly weather and temperature hovering around sub-zero, there was great enthusiasm among the golfers. Thirty golfers from different age groups are taking participate in the event. (AGENCIES)
