Police rescues 5 bovine animals

KISHTWAR, Mar 25: Cops of Police Station Chatroo here today foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued five bovine animals.
On a special tip off, SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal constituted a special team led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday under the supervision of Dy.SP DAR, Sajjad Khan.
The team laid a Naka at TRC Morh Chatroo during which it stopped one vehicle of Bolero Pickup make bearing registration number JK17A-0960 for checking. During checking five bovine animals were found loaded in the vehicles without any valid permission.
All the bovine animals were rescued and arrest was made on the spot.
In this connection, a case in FIR No. 15/2023 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Chatroo and investigation started.
