KATHUA, Nov 22: Police Party of P/S Lakhanpur acting on specific information, laid down a naka at Maggar Khad and intercepted one truck bearing registration No. JK02AD-1116 driven by Shakeel Ahmed ailas Sunny S/o Abdul Rashid R/o Findher tehsil R.S Pura, district Jammu.
During checking of the vehicles Police rescued 10 bovine animals which were being transported to State illegally. The driver was arrested. A case FIR No. 129/2013 u/s 188 RPC, 3 PC Act stand registered at P/S Lakhanpur against the arrested accused. Investigation of the case is in progress.
