Police distributes wheelchairs among specially abled persons

KATHUA, Feb, 21: Under the aegis of civic Action programme, a distribution function was conducted at Police Station (PS), Hiranagar for destitute and specially abled persons in which SSP Kathua, Dr. Shailendra Mishra, distributed wheelchairs to the 20 specially abled persons including women and children.
On this occasion, ASP Kathua, Dr. Ramnish Gupta, SDPO Border, Sachit Mahajan, SHO Hiranagar Inspector, Surinder Sambyal and SHO Rajbagh, Inspector, Bhopinder Singh were also present along with other officials.
SSP Kathua stated that specially abled persons constitute equal part of the society as others do. So, we as a human beings need to give them proper care and attention whenever and wherever needed. Time and again, Jammu and Kashmir Police have always stood with the needy and destitute through different means and shall remain committed to do the same in future as well by taking various best possible initiatives from time to time.
Superintendent of Police, Kathua interacted with the beneficiaries who complimented the Kathua Police for taking the initiative.
