JAMMU, Sept 3: Police in Bagh-e-Bahu area here conducted a raid at Qasim Nagar locality yesterday after suspicion of substance abuse by some people.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Bagh-e-Bahu Police Station led by SHO Arti Thakur conducted the raid in the house of one of the suspects and detained one person for questioning.
“Since nothing crucial was recovered from the accused during the raid and questioning, he was later released on a personal bond,” said the police spokesperson.
Earlier, a raid was conducted in Narwal locality by a joint police team led by SDPO South, resulting in arrest of the accused besides seizure of drugs.
