Srinagar, Oct 26: In view of the Moharram procession scheduled to be taken out on October 27, the police today announced a traffic diversion from from Srinagar to Baramulla and Baramulla to Srinagar.
A police spokesman said the traffic diversion is planned as: “Srinagar bound vehicles from North Kashmir Viz Kupwara, Handwara and Sopore will move via Hygam -Sumbal – HMT. Vehicles from Baramulla Uri will move from Hamrey Gate – Pattan – Sumbal – HMT.”
He said the vehicles from Pattan will move to Srinagar via Hartarth Bridge – Khanpath – Shadipora-HMT. Heavy motor vehicles moving towards North Kashmir from Srinagar will move via Narbal – Magam, turn right near SDPO Office Magam-Kungumdara – Khore – Hanjiwara -Pattan, the spokesman said.
The police spokesman said the light vehicles moving towards North Kashmir from Sringar will move to Baramulla via Nargal – Kanihama -Nooripora – Archanderhama – Gund Khoja Qasim – Singpora Pattan.
