MENDHAR, Oct 1: A 15-year-old boy, hailing from Pak occupied Kashmir was nabbed by the troops near the Line of Control (LoC) in Balnoi area of Mendhar sector of district Poonch today.
Official sources said that Army troops noticed the movement of one person near the Line of Control in Balnoi area of Mankote tehsil of Mendhar this afternoon. The jawans captured him when he walked deep inside the LoC through local river.
He was taken to nearby Army camp and then after sustained questioning handed over to Police. He has been identified as Ali Hyder (15), son of Mohd Sharief, resident of Abaspur (PoK).
A police spokesman said that on earlier occasion, this boy had crossed over to this side during December last year from different location near Poonch and he had been handed over back to the Pak Rangers after request from that side.
