PNB organizes Financial Inclusion, Saturation Camp

JAMMU, July 7: Punjab National Bank (PNB) Circle Office Jammu today organized a comprehensive Saturation Camp at Miran Sahib to drive financial inclusion and enhance digital awareness among the local public.

The event was graced by Vibha Gupta, Deputy General Manager (DGM), Reserve Bank of India (RBI), who was chief guest while other dignitaries present were Saroop Kumar, DGM, RBI; Pankaj Kumar Verma, Circle Head Jammu, PNB; Rohit Sharma, Chief Manager, PNB and Surjeet Saini, Branch Head, PNB.

The camp, witnessed large-scale participation from local residents alongside branch heads from various other banks in the region, focused on core banking services and financial safety, specifically targeting five key areas like re-KYC compliance, new PMJDY Accounts, nomination registration, social security schemes including PMJJBY, PMSBY, Atal Pension Yojana and digital fraud awareness.

Speaking at the event, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of bringing banking services directly to the grassroots level and ensuring 100 per cent saturation of social security schemes for a financially secure community.
