NEW DELHI : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today lauded the victory of snooker player Pankaj Advani who clinched the 11th World Billiards Championships title in a thrilling clash in Bengaluru in Karnataka.
In a message, Mr Modi said, ”Congratulations @PankajAdvani247 for winning the World Billiards Championships title. Your achievement is truly wonderful.” Playing in Bengaluru, the ace cueist beat Peter Gilchrist of Singapore in the summit clash on Monday last to scoop the title. (AGENCIES)
