JAMMU, Jan 12: A delegation of All J&K +2 Lecturers’ Forum called on Secretary School Education, Piyush Singla in his office Chamber at Civil Secretariat Jammu for discussing with him the issues and demands of the cadre.
The delegation, led by the Forum Chairman, RS Salathia and President, Pardeep Singh Rakwal, held a brief discussion with the Secretary on various issues vis-a-vis academic activities, co-curricular activities and issues of officers of +2 officers. The issues of regularisation and ACP prominently figured in the meet. The delegation said that unnecessary delay in the process of regularisation has marred the career of this class of officers.
Others, who were part of the delegation, included Ghar Singh, B K Tickoo, Gh Nabi Malik, Ramesh Padroo, Rajnish Raina, Abdul Khaliq, Sandeep Rathore and Suresh Mattoo.
The delegation later also called on Special Secretaries, Kanta Devi, Naseer Wani & Anu Behl, and HRM Nodal Officer, Gh Mohi-u-Din in their respective office chambers and had fruitful discussions with them on variety of issues the +2 cadre is confronted with.
Forum has claimed that the officers assured the visiting delegation that all pending issues would be taken immediately for their permanent resolution. Nodal Officer HRM said that finalization of Seniority lists was under process and the regularisation would begin immediately thereafter.
The delegation also called on Shadi Lal Pandita, Director General Codes, Finance Department in Civil Secretariat and had a one-to-one discussion with him on some financial issues confronting the +2 cadre.
