JAMMU, Jan 22: Reacting sharply on the statement of PDP President Mehbooba Mufti, Panun Kashmir (PK) President Vijay Bhat flayed her for communalising the situation in J&K.
Panun Kashmir held a meeting today to take stock of situation in response to the statement made by Mehbooba Mufti, which is totally immature and irrelevant.
Ravinder Jalali condemned Mehbooba Mufti for spreading lies just to communalise the situation in Jammu region where peace prevails. She wants to turn Jammu division into strife torn Kashmir valley like, he said.
“On one hand she does not want ghettoisation of Kashmiri Pandits in valley but at the same time encourage ghettoisation of Muslims in Jammu which amounts to blowing hot and clod through the same breath”, he added.
Vijay Bhat said that Mehbooba Mufti has exposed her true colours as the PDP is born out of the womb of militancy and is carrying the agenda of separatists which is to secede Kashmir from India.
“She need to be reminded of the ethnic cleansing and genocide of Kashmiri Pandits in valley and has no authority to speak on behalf of minority. I would like to remind her that in 1986 riots were engineered in her home town in which, hundreds of houses and temples were burnt and looted. That was the beginning of rather seeds of exodus of Kashmiri Pandits were sown there and then and subsequently nurtured by her father and her party. Rest is the history and the world is witness”, Bhat added.
Mehbooba Mufti is making such communal and irrelevant statements in view of the forth coming elections. He said that it is the habit of Mehbooba to incite the communal passion and spread hatred among local people in Valley against India and Hindus.
President Vijay Bhat took the Government to task for deliberating diluting the process of resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits in Valley. He reiterated that no less than separate Homeland, as per Margdarshan resolution of 1991, is acceptable to KPs.
Ravinder Jalali reiterated that the establishment of a separate Homeland is the only viable solution for Kashmiri Pandits where constitution of India be made applicable in letter and spirit. The only task is to prepare a road map for the establishment of separate home land within the valley, he stated.
The other members who spoke on the occasion were Naresh Raina, Vijay Koul, KL Mattoo and Bimla, besides other members.
